Vickys Tuna & Chilli Spaghetti
- 350 grams dried gluten-free spaghetti (dried is most likely to be egg & gluten-free)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 red onion, chopped
- 1 red chilli, deseeded and finely chopped
- 500 grams tomatoes, chopped OR sauce made from my recipe for Tomato-Free Tomato Sauce linked below
- 1 tbsp dairy-free spread/butter
- 130 grams canned tuna (drained weight) or salmon
- Cook the spaghetti in boiling salted water as per the pack instructions
- Meanwhile, put the oil in a saucepan with the onion and fry off slightly.
- Add the chilli and tomatoes/sauce and heat gently
- Drain the pasta and add it to the sauce with the butter & pesto and stir in
- Flake the tuna and add it to the pan.
- Season, stir through and serve
