Chicken 'N Dumplings Recipe

  1. Dredge chicken parts with flour.
  2. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, and seasonings.
  3. In a Dutch oven or possibly similar large pot, brown chicken in shortening.
  4. Add in gravy.
  5. Cover and simmer 1 1/2 hrs.
  6. Twenty min before end of cooking time, mix together, biscuit mix and lowfat milk.
  7. Spoon onto warm mix.
  8. Simmer 10 min uncovered, then 10 min covered.
  9. Serves 6-8.
