Seafood Spaghetti
- 1 lb spaghetti
- 1 lb blue mussels
- 1 lb small clam
- 16 jumbo shrimp
- 8 roma tomatoes, peeled, seeded, and diced
- 2 garlic cloves, chopped
- 3 ounces extra virgin olive oil
- 1 bunch fresh Italian parsley, chopped
- 1 bunch fresh basil, chopped
- 1 pinch crushed red pepper flakes
- 4 ounces white wine
- salt and pepper, to taste
- In a large saucepan, add olive oil and garlic.
- Saute until golden brown.
- Add blue mussels, clams and while wine.
- Simmer about 1 minute.
- Then add diced tomatoes, pepper flakes, parsley, basil and black pepper.
- Simmer for about 4 minutes.
- The final step is to add the al dente pre-cooked spaghetti.
