Homemade Spaghetti

  1. In a large pot boiling water, add a pinch of salt for flavor & add pasta.
  2. Cook according to package directions.
  3. Drain & set aside.
  4. While pasta is cooking, in a large skillet add oil.
  5. Once oil is hot, add ground beef, onions, garlic & green peppers.
  6. Cook until ground beef & cooked thoroughly & onions are translucent.
  7. Drain.
  8. Add ground beef mixture back into skillet & add tomatoes, tomato paste, water, chicken bouillon cubes, oregano, basil & brown sugar.
  9. Stir.
  10. Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally.
  11. Reduce to med.
  12. heat to bring the sauce to a simmer; cover with a lid & stir occasionally for about 10 minutes.
  13. On a large platter, place pasta & then top with spaghetti sauce.
  14. Top with grated parmesan cheese & parsley.
  15. Serve with a salad & garlic bread.
