Maple Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies (with Almond Meal)
- 4 cups Almond Meal (I Use Trader Joe's Brand)
- 23 cups Maple Syrup
- 1/2 cups Room Temperature Butter
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla
- 1/2 teaspoons Sea Salt
- 1 cup Dark Chocolate Chips
- Preheat the oven to 350 F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl add all the ingredients expect the chocolate chips.
- (This is a little trick I do.)
- With the cookie dough form golf ball sized balls of dough (adding a few chocolate piece while you roll it.)
- Then press the balls of dough onto the cookie sheet.
- Its very important to press the dough to the size you want the cookies.
- Almond flour does not spread like wheat flour, but the cookies do rise a bit.
- After pressing the dough, add a few more chocolate chips on top.
- This is my trick.
- It makes the chocolate chips stand out more.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the edges are slightly golden.
- Remove from the oven and allow them to sit on the baking sheet for a minute or two before removing them.
