Hot Dog Chicago Style
- 1 all beef hot dog
- 1 poppy seed hot dog bun
- 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
- 1 tablespoon neon-green pickle relish
- 1 tablespoon chopped yellow onion
- 3 tomatoes, slices
- 2 pickle spears
- 4 sport bell peppers
- 1 dash celery salt
- 2 slices cucumbers (wedges)
- 2 slices pickled tomatillos (wedges)
- Heat a grill to medium.
- Char the hot dogs on all sides until just black, but not all the way burnt.
- While dog is grilling, steam the bun over a little boiling water in a steamer basket.
- Take the dog out, place on bun.
- Apply mustard, relish, onion, tomato, pickle, sport peppers, and celery salt in that order.
- Place the tomatillo and cucumber on the side.
- Enjoy!
