Mary's Fruit Cake Recipe

• 2 c. raisins
• 2 c. water
• 1 c. lard
• 2 c. sugar
• 2 teaspoon cinnamon
• 2 teaspoon cloves
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 2 c. cut up apples
• 2 beaten Large eggs
• 1 c. crushed pineapple
• 1 pound dates
• 2 c. fruit cake mix
• 1 bottle cherries
• 1 c. nuts
• 4 c. flour, sifted with 2 teaspoon soda

1. Bring to boiling point the following: raisins, water, lard, sugar, cinnamon, cloves, and salt.
2. Then add in apples.
3. Cook till apples are done.
4. Add in remaining ingredients.
5. Line 3 bread pans with wax paper.
6. Bake 1 1/2 hrs at 350 degrees.
