Easy Sausage and Shiso Leaf Gyoza

  1. This is all you need for the ingredients.
  2. You don't even need any seasoning!
  3. Place a shiso leaf on a gyoza skin.
  4. Add a piece of sliced cheese on top.
  5. Place a wiener sausage on top.
  6. And roll it up!
  7. Once it is rolled up like this, place it seam-side down.
  8. Repeat this for a total of 12 rolls.
  9. I did not have enough shiso leaves... as you can see.
  10. Heat the skillet over high heat.
  11. Spread the oil evenly, about 1 mm deep, and heat up the oil.
  12. Once the oil is hot and makes a sizzling sound, reduce heat to medium and shallow-fry the gyoza-wrapped sausages!
