Caramel Slice
- 200g NABISCO* Chips Ahoy! Cookies, crushed
- 70g butter, melted
- 395g can sweetened condensed milk
- 30g butter, extra
- 2 tablespoons golden syrup
- 150g TOBLERONE* Dark Chocolate, melted
- 20g butter, extra, melted
- Combine the cookie crumbs and butter in a bowl.
- Press mixture into the base of a greased and lined 20cm square tin.
- Chill.
- Place condensed milk, extra butter and golden syrup in a saucepan and stir continuously over a medium-low heat for 10-15 minutes or until caramel darkens.
- Pour over the prepared crust and bake at 180C for 10 minutes.
- Allow to cool.
- Combine the melted chocolate and remaining butter until smooth.
- Pour over cooled caramel and refrigerate until set.
- Cut into slices and serve.
