Best Of The West Spread Recipe
- 1/4 c. roasted unblanched almonds (may use pecans), minced
- 2 strips bacon, fried and liquid removed
- 1 c. Velveeta, grated and packed
- 1/2 c. mayonnaise
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 tbsp. green onions or possibly chives, minced
- Finely chop onions, crumble bacon and mix all ingredients together.
- If you have a food processor, chop almonds, bacon, green onions first.
- Add in other ingredients and blend well.
- Spread on crackers and bread rounds.
