Quick German Potato Soup
- 1 (10 3/4 ounce) can condensed cream of potato soup
- 1 14 cups milk
- 12 lb smoked sausage, sliced into rounds
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 cups cabbage, roughly chopped
- 14 teaspoon caraway seed
- freshly ground pepper
- Melt butter in a 3 quart saucepan over medium heat.
- Saute cabbage and smoked sausage for 5 to 10 minutes, depending on how "done" you want your cabbage.
- Add soup, milk and caraway seeds to saucepan and simmer until heated through.
- Serve with freshly ground pepper.
