My Homemade Hamburgers

  1. Mince the onions.
  2. Saute the onions from step 1 until golden brown.
  3. Add the fried onions to the ground meat (after it has cooled).
  4. Soak the panko in milk.
  5. Thoroughly knead the panko, eggs, salt, pepper, and nutmeg together.
  6. After kneading it together, let sit for 5 minutes, and divide it into portions equivalent to the number of people.
  7. Add a bit of vegetable oil to the pan, and cook over medium heat for 5 minutes.
  8. Flip over and cook for an additional 3 minutes.
  9. Cover with a lid and cook for 5 minutes over low heat.
  10. They're done when they have plumped up!
  11. Remove the hamburgers from the pan, add sake, and evaporate the alcohol over medium heat (I used a spatula to mix).
  12. Add ketchup and Worcestershire-style sauce, boil down a bit more, and the sauce is finished!
  13. (lower to low heat to prevent the sauce from burning).
  14. Divide the sauce into separate containers when eating.
