My Homemade Hamburgers
- 300 grams Ground meat (beef and pork)
- 3 small Onion
- 1 Egg
- 20 grams Panko
- 3 tbsp Milk
- 1 pinch Salt and pepper
- 1 dash Nutmeg
- 4 tbsp Ketchup
- 4 tbsp Sake (Or red wine)
- 4 tbsp Japanese Worcestershire-style Sauce
- Mince the onions.
- Saute the onions from step 1 until golden brown.
- Add the fried onions to the ground meat (after it has cooled).
- Soak the panko in milk.
- Thoroughly knead the panko, eggs, salt, pepper, and nutmeg together.
- After kneading it together, let sit for 5 minutes, and divide it into portions equivalent to the number of people.
- Add a bit of vegetable oil to the pan, and cook over medium heat for 5 minutes.
- Flip over and cook for an additional 3 minutes.
- Cover with a lid and cook for 5 minutes over low heat.
- They're done when they have plumped up!
- Remove the hamburgers from the pan, add sake, and evaporate the alcohol over medium heat (I used a spatula to mix).
- Add ketchup and Worcestershire-style sauce, boil down a bit more, and the sauce is finished!
- (lower to low heat to prevent the sauce from burning).
- Divide the sauce into separate containers when eating.
