Glazed Apple Rings
- 6 apples, large
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 12 cups cranberry juice
- 14 cup lemon juice
- 2 sticks cinnamon
- 1 whole cloves
- in sauce pan, combine all ingredients except the apples.
- boil for 5 minutes.
- wash and core the apples, slice, unpeeled into medium thick rings.
- place in large baking pan and cover with the simmered sauce.
- bake 275 degrees F. until apples are tender.
- About 30 minutes.
- baste occasionally with syrup.
- remove cloves and cinnamon, serve or refrigerate.
