Blueberry Apple Butter Recipe

  1. Slice the apples.
  2. Add in sufficient water to barely cover.
  3. Cook till soft.
  4. Press through a sieve or possibly food mill.
  5. Measure the pulp so which you have 8 c. of pulp.
  6. Mix the apple pulp with the blueberries, sugar and allspice.
  7. Cook this mix on low in a heavy kettle till mix is thick and smooth.
  8. ladle into warm sterile containers.
  9. Process 10 min in a boiling water bath.
