Mom's 70's Skyline Chili

  1. Add the water and ground beef to a 4-quart pot.
  2. Bring to a low boil and cook for 30 minutes until the ground beef separated into a fine texture and the pink disappears.
  3. Add the rest of the ingredients to the pot.
  4. Stir to combine and bring to a hard boil.
  5. Back the heat off to a simmer.
  6. Cook covered for 2 hours and the uncovered for about 1 hour to the desired consistency.
  7. Serve in cheese coneys or chili spaghetti.
