Baked Garbanzo Bean Dip
- 2 cans (15 1/2 Oz. Size) Garbanzo Beans, Drained
- 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
- 2 Tablespoons Sweet Cream Butter, Melted
- 1 whole Large Egg, Beaten
- 1/4 teaspoons EACH: Black Pepper, Cayenne Pepper
- 1/2 cups Heavy Cream
- 1 cup Sour Cream
- Preheat oven to 425 F.
- Place the drained garbanzo beans in a large mixing bowl.
- Add olive oil, butter, beaten egg, black pepper and cayenne pepper.
- Mix well with a spatula.
- Pour the coated beans into a 9 x 12 non-stick baking sheet pan in a single layer.
- Bake at 425 F for 10 minutes.
- Remove from oven and put the baked garbanzo beans in the food processor and pulse several times.
- Then add the heavy cream and sour cream.
- Run food processor for 4 minutes on high.
- Remove bean dip from food processor with a spatula and place in a serving bowl.
- This is great with chips or veggies.
