Hungry Caterpillar Cake
- 250g block PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup caster sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla essence
- 2 teaspoons gelatine, dissolved in 30 ml water
- 125ml cream, lightly whipped
- 12 iced donuts
- licorice
- chocolate biscuits
- strawberry jubes
- chocolate bits
- 50g chocolate, melted
- candles
- Beat the Philly* with an electric mixer until smooth.
- Add the sugar, vanilla and gelatine mixture, beat for a further 2 minutes or until the sugar is dissolved.
- Stir through the whipped cream.
- Sandwich the donuts together with a generous spoonful of Philly* mixture, finishing with 2 donut halves to form a tapered tail.
- Push in pieces of chocolate biscuit to make the feet, and add on small pieces of liquorice for claws.
- Glue on the choc bits with melted chocolate to make the eyes and eyelashes, trim the strawberry jubes with scissors to form the tongue and lips.
- Refrigerate to set the Philly*.
- Add the required number of candles and happy birthday plaque.
