Pork Spareribs In Barbecue Sauce
- 1 large chopped onion
- 1/4 c. Wesson oil
- 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 beef bouillon cube
- 1/4 c. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 c. soy sauce
- 1/4 c. white vinegar
- 2 Tbsp. honey
- 2 tsp. Tabasco pepper sauce
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 tsp. liquid smoke
- 1 large clove garlic, minced
- 1 tsp. dry mustard
- 4 to 5 lb. pork spareribs
- In a small saucepan, saute onion in oil until transparent. Add remaining ingredients except spareribs.
- Mix well.
- Simmer 15 minutes.
- Pour over spareribs in a large glass baking dish; let stand 1 hour, turning occasionally.
- Arrange on shallow rack or broiler pan.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for about 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
- Turn ribs and baste with remaining barbecue sauce two or three times during baking.
- Cut in portions to serve.
- Makes 4 servings.
