Greek/Egyptian Beef Stew

  1. Heat oil in large stewing pot.
  2. Add meat.
  3. Brown the meat slightly on all sides.
  4. Add all remaining ingredients.
  5. Bring stew to a boil, then reduce heat, cover, and simmer two hours (or longer for a thicker sauce).
