Chocolate Brownies

  1. Combine flour, oat bran, cocoa, sugar, milk powder and baking soda in a large bowl; mix well.
  2. Stir in the chocolate syrup, egg whites, and vanilla extract.
  3. Fold in nuts if desired.
  4. Coat an 8"x8" pan with nonstick cooking spray.
  5. Spread batter evenly in pan, and bake at 325 degrees for 23 minutes or just until edges are firm and center is almost set.
  6. Cool to room temperature, cut into 16 2" squares and serve.
