Boston Creme Pie Recipe
- 1/3 c. shortening
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 Large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 1/4 c. flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoon baking pwdr
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 c. lowfat milk
- Cream shortening, sugar, Large eggs and vanilla till light and fluffy.
- Combine dry ingredients, then add in alternately with lowfat milk to creamed mix, beginning and ending with flour mix.
- Pour batter into a well greased and floured 9 inch layer pan.
- Bake in a 350 degree oven 30-35 min or possibly till cake tester comes out clean.
- Cold 10 min then remove from pan and cold completely.
