Bamboo Shoots with Black Bean Sauce

  1. Combine the broth, black beans, garlic, soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, and sugar in a small saucepan set over medium-high heat.
  2. Bring the mixture to a boil.
  3. Cook, stirring, for 1 minute.
  4. Remove from the heat and set aside.
  5. Heat a medium skillet over medium heat until hot.
  6. Add the oil and bamboo shoots.
  7. Cook, stirring, for 3 minutes or until the shoots are tender.
  8. Pour the sauce over the bamboo shoots and toss to coat.
  9. Serve at once.
