Braised Sirloin Tips Over Rice

  1. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown meat in oil, stirring to brown the meat on all sides.
  2. Stir in consomme, juice, soy sauce, garlic, and onion powder.
  3. Heat to boiling.
  4. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 1 hour or until meat is tender.
  5. Blend cornstarch and water together in a small bowl.
  6. Then gradually it into meat mixture.
  7. Cook, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens and boils.
  8. Boil and stir for a couple of minutes.
  9. Serve over rice.
  10. Makes 4 to 6 servings.
