Easy Spaghetti Bake Recipe
- 2 slices bacon, diced
- 2 med. onions, minced
- 1 clove garlic, chopped
- 1/2 pound lean grnd beef
- 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Pepper, to taste
- 1 teaspoon chili pwdr
- 2 cans (8 ounce.) Hunt's tomato sauce
- 2 1/2 c. water
- 1/2 c. ripe olives, sliced
- 1/2 pound spaghetti, uncooked
- 1 c. Cheddar cheese, grated
- In large pan or possibly heavy skillet, fry bacon about 2 min.
- Add in onions and garlic and cook till soft.
- Add in meat and cook till it turns brown.
- Stir in seasonings, tomato sauce and water.
- Cover and simmer about 25 min.
- Stir in ripe olives.
- Break half the spaghetti in greased 2 qt casserole.
- Cover with half the sauce and half the cheese.
- Repeat layers.
- Cover with lid or possibly metal foil.
- Bake in 350 degree oven for 30 min.
- Uncover and bake 15 min longer or possibly till browned and bubbly.
- Makes 6 servings.
