sloppy Joe
- 2 1/2 lb ground beef
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 large onion finely chopped
- 1/4 cup cooking wine
- 3 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 dash salt pepper and garlic to tatse
- 1 can tomatoe sauce 15 ounce can
- 1 can tomatoe paste 8 oz.
- 1 dash paprika to taste
- 1 bell pepper chopped finely optional
- 1 dash Heinz ketchup
- 1 dash balsamic vinegar
- 1 dash apple cider vinegar or apple juice
- 12 buns
- break hamburger into skillet on high heat when half way browned add onion and bell pepper, cook till onions and peppers are soft.
- drain excess liquid off add spices taste adjust spice to your linking, add all other ingredients except bread and tomatoes paste.
- simmer on med heat.
- after thoroughly mixed add tomatoes paste to thicken.
- simmer till it tightens up.
- in new skillet that's hot butter buns grill till toasted spoon on mix you can add cheese like parmesan, blue, pavarlone, Swiss cheddar and so on.
- hot sauce if you like but this is one of my favorites hope you enjoy.
