Cinnamon Curry Apple Chips

  2. Preheat oven to 250 degrees F and line baking sheets with parchment paper.

  4. Bring water and sugar to a boil in a pan.
  5. Stir to make sure sugar is dissolved, remove from heat.

  7. Slice the apples fairly thin.
  8. The thicker they are, the longer they take to bake.

  10. Place apple slices in the simple syrup (water and sugar mixture), stir to coat and let sit for 10 minutes.

  12. Remove the slices one at a time, shake off the excess syrup, and place by the single layer on the baking sheets.

  14. Sprinkle with cinnamon and curry powder.
  15. 7.
  16. Bake 30 minutes, rotate trays, bake 30 more minutes.
  17. If apples are not dried out by this time, continue baking in 15-minute increments.
