Apple Oatbran Scones Recipe

  1. In a large mixing bowl, mix together flour, sugar, baking pwdr and cinnamon.
  2. Use two knives to cut margarine into a dry mix till crumbly.
  3. Stir in oatbran, grated apple, and currants.
  4. In a measuring c., whisk together 4 egg whites with lowfat milk.
  5. Mix egg mix into oatbran mix till moistened.
  6. Grease large cookie sheet and spread dough so which it is approximately 1 inch thick, 9 inches wide and 15 inches long.
  7. Score the dough into at least 18 squares.
  8. Bake at 375 deg F for 25-30 min.
  9. Best served hot with jam.
