Barbecue Brisket Recipe
- 5-6 pound lean beef brisket
- 1 tbsp. onion salt
- 2 tbsp. celery salt
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic pwdr
- 3 ounce. liquid smoke
- Salt
- Pepper
- Worcestershire sauce
- Barbecue sauce

- The night before: Sprinkle brisket with onion salt, celery salt, and garlic pwdr.
- Place in baking dish and pour on liquid smoke, cover with foil.
- Place in refrigerator overnight.
- 2.
- In the morning, sprinkle with salt and pepper and lightly with Worcestershire sauce.
- Place the brisket (liquid and all) in roaster with lid on and cook 5 hrs at 275 degrees.
- 3.
- Take off lid and spread on barbecue sauce and cook (1) more hour.
- Let cold before slicing.
- 4.
- Mix drippings with barbecue sauce and heat (use sufficient drippings to take away catsup taste).
- Serve warm with brisket.
