Pork Steak And Limas Recipe
- 4 lean pork steaks
- 1 c. dry limas
- 1 onion, minced
- Salt and pepper
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 1/2 c. water
- 4 tbsp. brown sugar
- 4 tbsp. vinegar
- Soak limas over night.
- Drain.
- Brown pork steaks and onion in warm fat.
- Put limas in casserole, add in seasonings and water; top with steaks and onion.
- Bake at 375 degrees for 1 hour.
- Mix brown sugar and vinegar and pour over steaks.
- Bake 15 min more.
