Cape Anne Chowder
- 2 cups thinly sliced onions King Sooper's 1 lb For $0.99 thru 02/09
- 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 2 cups water
- 2 cups chopped potatoes Safeway 2 pkg For $5.00 thru 02/09
- 1 cup sliced celery
- 1-1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 lb. fish fillets, cooked, cut into pieces King Sooper's 1 lb For $7.99 thru 02/09
- 1 can (6 oz.) crabmeat, drained, flaked
- 1 pkg. (10 oz.) shredded CRACKER BARREL Sharp Cheddar Cheese
- 2 cups milk
- Cook and stir onion in butter in 3-quart saucepan on medium heat until tender; blend in flour.
- Gradually add water; stir in vegetables and seasonings.
- Cover; simmer 20 minutes or until potatoes are tender.
- Add remaining ingredients; stir until cheese is melted.
