Betty Carter's Company Chicken Recipe
- 1/3 stk Butter
- 1 x Chicken*
- 1 tsp Paprika
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/4 tsp Pepper
- 2 can Mushroom soup
- 1 c. Chicken stock
- 4 Tbsp. Sherry
- * - 2-3 Lb, cut up, or possibly 8 chicken breasts.
- Heat butter.
- Dust chicken with paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Brown chicken in 425'F.
- oven for 15 min.
- While chicken is baking, empty soup into saucepan.
- Add in stock or possibly broth and heat; add in sherry.
- Pour sauce over browned chicken and bake at 350'F.
- for 40 min more.
- Serve with rice.
