Brisket with Portabella Mushroom Sauce
- 5 pounds Brisket
- 1- 1/2 cup Hot Water
- 1 package Dry Onion Soup
- 1 package Mushroom Gravy (or Brown Gravy)
- 1 clove Garlic, Minced
- 1/4 cups Italian Dressing
- 1 cup Portabella Mushrooms, Diced
- 1 teaspoon Fresh Ground Pepper
- Sprinkle brisket with pepper and wrap in heavy duty foil, leaving an opening at the top.
- Place in a baking dish.
- In a bowl, mix water, soup, gravy, garlic and Italian dressing together.
- Pour the mixture on top of the brisket and sprinkle with mushrooms.
- Seal the foil.
- Bake at 300 degrees for 5 to 8 hours or until very tender.
