Beer Batter Fish Recipe

  1. Heat 1 1/2 inches oil in heavy saucepan or possibly deep fry at 350 degrees.
  2. Lightly coat fish with 3 to 4 Tbsp.
  3. baking mix.
  4. Mix 1 c. baking mix, egg, salt and beer till smooth.
  5. Dip fish into batter, letting excess dip into bowl.
  6. Fry fish till golden, about 2 min on each side.
  7. Drain.
  8. 3 to 4 servings.
  9. In high altitudes, 3500 to 6500 feet, heat oil to 330 to 335 degrees.
