Sausage & Rice Casserole Recipe
- 1 pound Country sausage (Owens or possibly Jimmy Deans)
- 1/4 c. minced green pepper
- 1/2 c. minced celery
- 1 lg. onion, minced
- 2 1/2 c. boiling water
- 2 pkg. chicken noodle soup, dry mix
- 1 c. uncooked instant rice
- 12 ounce. can mushrooms, liquid removed
- Brown sausage, pepper, celery and onion together in a skillet.
- Drain.
- Combine remaining ingredients, add in the meat mix and bake in a greased casserole dish at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
- Serves 8.
