Ham and Asparagus Cheesy Puffed Roll Ups
- 1 bunch Asparagus
- 3 slices Ham Steak
- 1 package Mozzarella String Cheese
- 1 can Crescent Rolls
- Preheat oven according to crescent roll directions.
- Cut asparagus in 2 inch pieces.
- Lightly blanch in boiling water for 1 minute.
- Cool in an ice bath and dry well.
- Cut ham and mozzarella into 2 inch x 1/2 slices.
- As a main course, use 4 asparagus, 3 ham, 2 mozzarella slices rolled into each roll and baked according to directions on can.
- As an appetizer, cut each roll in half and roll into each 2 asparagus, 2 ham and 1 mozzarella slice.
- Roll up and bake according to directions on can.
- Freshly shredded mozzarella and fresh mozzarella can be used, but string cheese is easier to roll.
