Fluffy Rice
- 1- 3/4 cup Water Or Broth
- 1 Tablespoon Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 1 clove Garlic, Minced
- 1 cup Well-rinsed, Uncooked Rice
- Salt And Pepper
- In a medium-sized saucepan, bring the water or broth to a boil.
- In another medium-sized pan over medium heat, combine olive oil and garlic.
- Stir for 30 seconds.
- Add the rinsed uncooked rice and mix everything together.
- Pour the boiled water/broth into the rice mixture.
- Add salt and pepper.
- Reduce heat to medium/low, cover and simmer until tender and all the liquids are absorbed, about 15 or 20 minutes.
- Remove from heat.
- After cooking, let the rice rest for a total of five minutes.
- After that time you can remove the cover, fluff and separate the grains with a fork.
