Olive Garden's Chicken Carbonara

  1. whisk ingredients 2-5 together and place in bag with chicken
  2. refrigerate chicken for at least 30 minutes
  3. cook the pasta while making sauce
  4. for the sauce:
  5. melt stick of butter in a large saucepan over medium heat
  6. add a garlic and bacon bits
  7. saute for 5 minutes stirring frequently
  8. add the flour, parmesan cheese, heavy cream, milk, pepper and salt.
  9. Whisk together.
  10. bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and bring to a simmer.
  11. Stir occasionally
  12. in a large bowl combine the parmesan, mozzarella, garlic and parsley.
  13. Set aside.
  14. in a large skillet cook the chicken until done.
  15. cut into pieces.
  16. add the cut chicken into the sauce mixture, and let it simmer for about 3 minutes
  17. place pasta in large serving bowl and pour the sauce over the pasta
  18. add in the parmeasn, mozz, garlic and parsley mixture, and mix together
