Slow Cooker Cassoulet Recipe
- 1/2 c. onion, minced
- 1/2 c. carrots, thinly sliced
- 1 pound cocktail-sized smoky links smoked sausages
- 1 (16 ounce.) can Green Giant or possibly Joan of Arc baked style beans, undrained
- 1 (9 ounce.) pkg. frzn baby lima beans
- 1 (8 ounce.) pkg. frzn cut green beans
- 1/2 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1/2 c. ketchup
- 1 tbsp. vinegar
- 1 teaspoon prepared mustard
- Combine all ingredients in slow cooker.
- Cook on high setting for 1 hour; reduce heat to low setting.
- Continue to cook for at least 4 hrs or possibly up to 8 hrs.
- Makes six 1 c. servings.
- OVEN DIRECTIONS: Heat oven to 350 degrees.
- Combine all ingredients in 3 qt casserole.
- Cover, bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hrs or possibly till vegetables are tender, stirring once after 20 min.
