Stuffed Bell Peppers

  1. Preheat oven to 350F
  2. Cut off tops of green peppers; remove seeds and membrane.
  3. Precook green peppers cups in boiling salted water, about 5 minutes.
  4. Drain; sprinkle inside with salt.
  5. Brown meat and onions.
  6. Add tomatoes, rice, Worcestershire sauce and salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Cover and simmer until rice is almost tender, about 5 minutes.
  8. Add 1/2 cup cheese.
  9. Stuff peppers and stand upright in 10 x 6 x 1 1/2 inch baking dish.
  10. Sprinkle with the remaining cheese.
  11. Bake uncovered at 350F for 25 minutes or until hot.
