For Dieters: Konnyaku Garlic Steak

  1. Cut the konnyaku into 2 pieces horizontally.
  2. Score the surface in a diagonal crisscross pattern on both sides.
  3. This makes it easier for the flavors to penetrate.
  4. Slice the garlic.
  5. Heat the sesame oil in a frying pan and stir fry the garlic.
  6. When it becomes fragrant take it out.
  7. Put a little steak sauce in the pan, and pan fry the konnyaku while coating it with the sauce.
  8. Cut the konnyaku into bite-sized pieces, top with the steak sauce and garlic and serve.
