Crockpot Cabbage Rolls

  1. Remove leaves from head of cabbage gently, trying to keep them whole
  2. Scald these in boiling salt water, just long enough to wilt,
  3. Set these on paper towels to cool .
  4. In lge bowl prepare meat mixture: meat, rice, egg, onion, salt and pepper, mix well
  5. Place about 1/4 cup meat mixture in center of each leaf, fold over sides and roll ends over meat, secure with wooden toothpicks
  6. Place in crockpot
  7. Combine tomato soup, tomatoes, cinnamon, salt and pepper, pour over cabbage rolls.
  8. Cover and cook on low 7-9 hrs
  9. You can toss in any excess cabbage too
