Simple Lentil Soup Recipe

• 1 c. dry lentils, rinsed
• 2 onions, minced
• 2 cloves garlic, minced
• 1 bay leaf
• 2 quarts. water
• zest of 1 lemon

1. Combine all ingredients in a saucepan and simmer until the lentils are tender; about 1 hour
