Black Bean Turkey Burgers
- 1 pound Ground Turkey
- 1/4 cups Refried Black Beans
- 1 whole Jalapeno, Deseeded And Diced
- 1/2 cups Fresh Corn
- 1/2 cups Fresh Cilantro
- 1 whole Large Egg
- 1/2 cups Whole Wheat Bread Crumbs
- 18 cups Lime Zest
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- Fresh Ground Pepper, to taste
- 1/2 cups Mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon Sriracha Sauce
- 1/4 teaspoons Lime Juice
- FOR GARNISH (optional):
- 1 whole Avocado, Sliced
- 1 whole Tomato, Sliced
- Fresh Cilantro
- Corn On The Cob, To Serve
- Using your spotlessly clean hands, combine turkey, black beans, jalapeno, corn, cilantro, egg, bread crumbs, lime zest, salt and pepper in a large bowl.
- Set aside.
- In a small bowl mix mayo, sriracha sauce and lime juice into a uniform mixture.
- Set aside.
- Heat your BBQ to medium heat or heat a small amount of oil in a large frying pan over medium heat.
- Form meat mixture into 4-6 patties and place them on the grill or pan.
- Cook burgers until done, about 3-4 minutes a side.
- Place the finished patties in ciabatta buns and top with spicy mayo, avocado and tomato slices and some fresh cilantro.
- Serve with corn on the cob.
