Texas Layered Tortillas & Chili

  1. Heat oil and lightly fry tortillas until softened.
  2. Drain on paper towels.
  3. Assemble on oven proof plates or baking sheet.
  4. Spread 2 tablespoons chili on tortilla.
  5. Sprinkle with grated cheese and onion.
  6. Add another tortilla, more chili, cheese and onion.
  7. Set a third tortilla on top.
  8. Spread more chili on top tortilla and sprinkle with grated cheese.
  9. Heat in 350 degree oven just long enough to melt cheese.
