Healthy Egg White Scramble
- 4 slices Turkey Bacon
- 6 whole Egg Whites
- 2 whole Eggs
- 1/4 cups Reduced Or Fat-Free Cheese, Shredded (Swiss, Cheddar, Mozzarella, Pepper Jack, Etc.)
- 1/4 cups Onion, Diced
- Salt And Pepper, to taste
- 1.
- Cook the turkey bacon in a skillet over medium heat.
- Once its crisply, remove it from the skillet onto a plate.
- Once its cooled a bit, crumble it.
- 2.
- Separate the eggs whites and put them in a bowl with the two whole eggs.
- 3.
- Add the cheese, bacon, salt and pepper into the eggs and mix to combine.
- 4.
- Spray a pan with cooking spray and heat at medium-high heat.
- 5.
- When the pan is hot, add the onions and saute until translucent and slightly golden.
- 6.
- Whisk the egg mixture with a fork then pour over the onions.
- 7.
- Scramble until the eggs reach your desired consistency.
- 8.
- Serve and enjoy!
- Note: An egg substitute (such as Egg Beaters) can be used in place of the whole eggs and egg whites.
- Optional Ingredients: mushrooms, green peppers, artichoke hearts, turkey sausage, jalapenos, etc.
