Quick Spanish Hamburger Soup

  1. In saucepan cook ground beef until browned; drain off fat.
  2. Stir in salt and pepper.
  3. Add tomato sauce, carrot, mushrooms, onion, olives, and sugar.
  4. Stir in water and wine.
  5. Cover; simmer for 30 to 35 minutes or until carrot is tender, stirring occasionally.
  6. Sprinkle individual servings with parmesan cheese, if desired.
  7. Makes 2 servings.
