Fresas Al Rompope - Strawberries and Eggnog
- 3 cups strawberries
- 1 cup crema, dulce (sweetened condensed milk may be substituted)
- 5 tablespoons eggnog
- 34 cup granulated sugar
- 12 cup powdered sugar
- Clean the strawberries but keep out the freshest for a garnish.
- Place the rest on a platter.
- Coat them with granulated sugar and refrigerate them for an hour.
- Whip the cream.
- When thickened, add the powdered sugar and the egg-nog.
- With a wooden spoon mix well and pour the sauce over the strawberries.
- Garnish with the fresh strawberries kept apart.
- Refrigerate before serving.
