Chocolate Crinkles
- 4 oz. unsweetened chocolate
- 2 c. flour
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. vegetable oil
- 2 c. sugar
- 4 eggs, beaten
- 2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
- powdered sugar
- Melt chocolate in double boiler.
- Cool.
- Sift flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Mix oil, cooled chocolate, and sugar in bowl. Beat eggs in one at a time.
- Add vanilla and sifted dry ingredients; mix well.
- Fold in chocolate chips.
- Chill, covered for 4 hours.
- Preheat oven to 350.
- Roll mixture by teaspoonfuls in powdered sugar.
- Arrange on greased cookie sheet.
- Bake for 9-11 minutes or until cookies test done.
- Cool on cookie sheet for 5 minutes.
- Remove to wire rack to cool completely.
