Phyllis Bailey's Butter Cookies
- 1 lb butter
- 2 cups sugar
- 4 egg yolks
- 4 -5 cups flour
- 12 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- Cream together the butter, sugar and egg yolks.
- Add in the flour, salt and vanilla.
- Use your cookie press with the poinsettia disc on it and press cookie onto cookie sheet.
- Put a small piece of cherry in the center.
- Bake for about 8 minutes.
