Black Bean Mole Recipe

  1. In a small skillet, toast the cumin seeds, oregano, sesame seeds, and chili pwdr, stirring constantly for 3 min, and then place in a blender.
  2. Then add in the beans, tomatoes, Worcestershire sauce, chicken stock, honey, cilantro, lime, butter, and salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Puree till smooth.
  4. Now transfer the mole to a medium saucepan and heat till it thickens, about 5 min.
  5. Serve over poultry or possibly fish accompanied by some tortilla chips.
  6. This recipe yields about 3 c. of sauce.
